Alvin Greene

Alvin Greene is the talk of all media at the present. here's a guy who has been called a republican mole & etc. Why is it such an issue that this guy has come along & run for office for his state? I wonder is it a issue b/c he doesn't possess eloquence that your typical politician possess. Remember it those politicians that have this country in the quagmire that its in now!! So i don't believe the savvy speaking can get anything done w/o action. The image of what a politician should look, speak, or dress like is a American stigma. I'd rather have a person who possess no education, but has the backbone to fight for the people who elected him, than to have a man who possess all the wisdom in the world, but as soon as he is elected, he's somewhere cutting back room deals with lobbyist, & forgets about who put him into office.Look at it this way. Americans in 2000 voted one of the worst presidents in America history into office. He took a surplus, & turned it into a recession. Then Americans again votes him back into office in 2004 to let him go ahead & bankrupt the country, & now you want to blame Obama for Bush's mismanagement's. Sp if you put bush into office to lead a country. There's no way that you can object to Alvin Greene. His power is limited in the Senate. So Alvin Greene I support you until you show different. Your not condemned in my eyes until you prove worthy to be condemned. I wish that others would give you a chance b/f condemning you for all the wrong reasons. B/c you can't be no worse than George Bush!!

Should a Mosque be built in the vicinity of the Twin Towers?

Good Muslims follow the Quran & Sunnah of Muhammad. The acts of 9/11 have nothing to do with Islam. God says in the Quran" Let not the hatred of a people move you to injustice." So hating foreign policy of America give you no right to wage war, according to the Quran. According to the Sunnah, or Muhammad's way NO Jihad can be fought unless the Muslims are united under one leader, which they're not. You can't kill innocent women, children, or elderly people in Jihad. You can't kill yourself or destroy property. These are some of the rules IF Jihad was to be formed in this day & time. Masjids in NY shows Muslims believers that love conquers hatred & intelligence leaders of modern world that Islam doesn't support or teach those horrific acts of 9/11. "Let not the hatred of a people move you to injustice."
To equate the Islamic religion to 9/11 is asinine. 9/11 was a act done by people who believed in the Muslim faith, but didn't live it. So to say a mosque shouldn't be placed in the vicinity of the Twin Tower is ludicrous. To do this to the Muslim religion, then the Christianity should be equated to bombing,KKK,Jim Crow,Indians,& tec. That's not what Christianity stands for, but those who committed most of those acts claimed to be Christians. So should you be held accountable? Come on people let get back to FREEDOM OF RELIGION!!

JUNETEENTH:WE BROKE THE CHAINS

June 19th,1865 is considered the date when the last slaves in America were freed. Although the rumors of freedom were widespread prior to this,actual emancipation did not come until General Gordon Granger rode into Galveston,Texas and issued General Orders Number 3 on June 19 almost two and a half years after Presisent Lincoln signed the Emancipation Proclamation.
Juneteenth has come to symbolize for many African Americans what the fourth of July symbolizes for all Americans.......freedom. It also serves as a historical milestone reminding americas of the triumph of the human spirit over the cruelty of slavery.It honors those African American ancestors who survived the inhumane institution of bondage as well as demonstrating pride in a marvelous legacy of resistance and perserverance they left us. Even on the journey to discover who we are, Juneteenth allows us to reflect on where we've been ,where we are and where we are going as a people.This article is very important to me and should be to you,especially,if you've never heard of this day.

That u don't have to portray to be something your not, to be considered a man, & to play that role is asinine. I hate that it has taken me so long to grow up, & come to know who I Am. Some or most people never gets the opportunity to meet or know them true selves, they die not knowing b/c of the stigma. Nobody said it better than God himself. "I AM WHAT I AM". Most guys today r characters. They allow materalistic posssesion or how many women that they have slept with to define thier dispostion as a man. & they die still not knowing what a man is, & they never be the man that they were put here to be. EVOLUTION OF MADNESS PT. 1!

I've been incarcerated for almost 14 years, and being in prison exposes a person to all sorts of unsavory characters and acts. One such act is Homosexuality.
I've not grown accustomed, comfortable or sympathetic(nor will I ever) to that lifestyle. It's simple why I feel this way, homosexuality undermines the 2 greatest gifts our Creator has given us, one, the relationship between a man and a woman, and two, procreation.
So upon reading an article in the June 2010 Essence magazine, entitled, " Daddy's Home", by Nick Chiles, I sat on my government issue, stainless steel toilet sick to my stomach. The article starts off saluting Black men that have stepped up to the proverbial plate to raise children. However, the last part of the article salutes a homosexual couple, raising three children.
First of all, i must admit that I'm somewhat out of the loop when it comes to the ways of what we in here call the "Real World", society, nevertheless, when did being gay become something worthy of being saluted? Let alone gay and raising two young black men and a girl. We need more strong black men in the world. Have we forgotten a Sodom and Gommorah? Man didn't condemn those people, GOD did. Oh, I see, times have changed, well maybe GOD has become sympathetic to this modern movement, I think not. I'm the last person to be preaching the Bible, but GOD destroyed them for a reason, and now we have given them inalienable rights.
Ya'll bucking the WORD of GOD?
They already told me I'm going to Hell, I'm just glad I'll have company. But, who am I, a lowly jailbird.
For the record though, all men in prison aren't pitching and catching. But for the ones that are........

HAVE YOU EVER BEEN SOMEWHERE DOING SOMETHING OR DAYDREAMING,THEN,OUT OF THE BLUE,YOU REALIZE A SOLUTION TO A PROBLEM THAT HAS BEEN PERCULATING IN YOUR LIVELIHOOD.THOSE MOMENTS ARE KNOWN AS 'AHA' MOMENTS OR EUREKA!AN 'AHA' MOMENT IS ANY SUDDEN COMPREHENSION THAT ALLOWS YOU TO SEE SOMETHING IN A DIFFERENT LIGHT,"ACCORDING TO PSYCHOLOGIST JOHN KOUNIOS. ALSO KNOWN AS SUDDEN INSIGHTS, 'AHA' MOMENTS ARE THE ZENITH OF AN INTENSE SERIES OF BRAIN STATES THAT REQUIRE MORE NEURAL RESOURCES THAN METHODICAL REASONING. IN OTHER WORD, SOLVING A SIMPLE PROBLEM WITH INSIGHT OR SUDDEN IMPULSE(EUREKA) IS FUNDAMENTALLY DIFFERENT THAN SOLVING ONE ANALYTICALLY.YOUR BRAIN WORKS HARD THE MOMENT BEFORE INSIGHT. SO IF EVER YOU THINK THAT YOU WEREN'T DOING NOTHING WHEN YOU CAME UP WITH A BRIGHT IDEA-YOUR WRONG. YOUR BRAIN WAS PUTTING IN HARD WORK. WE OFTEN ASSUME THAT IF WE DON'T NOTICE OUR THOUGHTS,THERE AREN'T ANY,WHEN , ACTUALLY,WHEN WE FEEL THERE AREN'T ANY USUALLY IS WHEN WE ARE CREATIVE THINKING.
SO THE NEXT TIME YOU GET DONE DAYDREAMING,GO DRINK A GLASS OF WATER TO REWARD YOUR BRAIN FOR ALL THE HARD WORK.
