High Unemployment
This recession has been a depression for the blacks of America. With a unemployment rate of 17% almost double that of the nationals average10%.
It has also been determined that those in the age group of 45 & over has been affected the most & in the worst way. Those in this age group is being fired from their jobs, & will not be able to return to them even when this recession is over.
The bright side of this is, those who are 45 & ov are switching to new professions, & are learning new trades.
To sum this up. when America is in a recession, balcks are in a depression. When America is in prosperous times, Blacks are in a recession. So you can only imagine what state the blacks are when in when America is in a depression.

Forgive!
In the May 17-24 issue of the Jet magazine, on pages 17-19. A story was done on the former Mayor kwame Patrick.
I honestly feel the cit of Detroit needs to forgive & forget. Actually it not the citizens that are actually dissatisfied. The citizen have so many other issue to deal with. It's those one's who have the power, to continue to have this man under so much scrutiny.
look the man did wrong & he admitted that he done wrog. It took him some time to admit but he admitted.
Show me one person on this earth that has not done no wrong in their lives or hasn't been untruthfully in some sort of way?
If you dug into some of those who are pursuing this man to this degree, I guarantee that you'll find somewhere in their lives where they wasn't always honest too.
The mayor has left the city, & has found guidance in Texas with Bishop T.D. Jakes. He's trying to pay the city back,take care of his children,maintain his household, & continue to re-establish his relations with his wife.
We understand that he done wrong. So what we all done wrong & gone to do wrong again. The difference is he got caught & alot of those don't b/c they have someone to cover it up for them.
Let thim man move on with his life. I think that those who keep pressing this has some kind of political agenda, in hopes that they can be re-elected on this issue. If you do your job the right way then you won't need to step on others to get ahead!!! I wonder is it an election year in Detroit or a upcoming election year.
If he's sent to jail how could he repay what he owes? what would that accomplish? How would sending him to jail benefit those taxpayer money that he used? If he goes to jail they'll be paying for is incarceration.
That's the problem with this country. It thinks that the answer to every answer is lock em up!! THAT DOES NOT WORK!!!
Look at the return rate of those who are released from prison. The return rate is high than the reform rate. That b/c the problem the we do have the system does not have the money to fund. WELL THAT WHAT THEY SAY, but they continues to build more jails & prison, than they build schools.
Citizens of Detroit, please stand up & speak out about this nonsense. The funds that is being allocated to bring this man back to court, can be the funds to try an reopen soon of those schools that got closed in the black district of detroit, or could be used to bury those unidentified deceased people in the county coroner office!!!! So do the right thing & STAND UP!!!

Blackwoman
BLACKWOMAN
I see her as the beacon for all women. She's comes in so many beautiful colors & complexions, & the best thing is all those colors & complexions are authentic.. She never have to tan b/c her color in natural. She misunderstood not only by those who dont know her, but also by those who are her better half.(blackman) She is independent & he does not understand b/c now she seems as the bread winner of the family. But in actuality she's always been independent. All through history she's taken care of her home even when the man was there or wasn't there. She is the inspirational voice to her man when he was so willing to give up on life itself. She's been a intricate part of the country's survival in it lowest & highest point but never really received the recognition that deserved. But she stiil does her b/c all that she does she does it out the pureness of her heart. She's beeen forced to give uop her life on many occasion to raise children of men who have abandoned their responsibilities. She's stronger than what she preceives to be. She's a Blackwoman. Hurt has been a normal part of her lkife, but she's learned how to deal with it, & not let it be an excuse for not getting ahead. It so much that I can say about you , that I could go on & on. I just wanted to let you know. That you are loved even when you dont feel loved. You're a quenn even when uyou dont feel royality. You are the beacon of all women. You can never be duplicate only imitated.You are original. You are the BLACKWOMAN. So to me everyday is your day. Happy Blackwomans Day, B/c you deserve your own day!!!

Kent State
kent state is launching a walkin tour to commemorate the 40th anniversary of the national guard shootings may 4th,1970 that killed 4 students and injured 9 others who were protesting the vietnam war.

hey its 10:oo am, just got in from workin out .i heard that the man who killed malclm x was recently paroled after serving 44 years......wow....wow!i also heard that gucci man's crew or team are rippin concert promoters in lil towns off by getting there money and not showin up.people make sure if you plan to pay for a specific artist to perform for you get it in writing so that u can sue if he doesnt show up .i believe its a breach of contract. well i will return later.......peace

WORLD OUTLOOK
goin into the kitchen or chow hall in prison is a thing to see.to me it reflects how the world views different races.for instance,all races ,except african american,get in one particular line to get served the meals while all the american"blacks"all line up in the opposite line.asians,jamaicans,europeans,canadians, mexicans especiallyand russians all get in line away from blacks.to me that's a reflection of how african americans are viewed in the eyes of other countries and races. that is a form of racism to me.. i will return later tonight or tommorrow peace ........tell a freind to join my talks,blogs.....lancepough at facebook.
